After-School Recreation Programs

A Safe Place to Learn, Grow, and Belong

Rancho Brazos is proud to be the only free after-school program provider in Hood County, serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Our after-school programs offer:

Paula’s Pantry

Nourishing Families with Dignity and Care

Paula’s Pantry operates every Friday, providing free groceries and emergency food assistance to families in need. More than just a food pantry, Paula’s Pantry offers consistency, compassion, and dignity to households facing food insecurity. Parents can expect a self serve pantry where you can shop for whatever you are needing!

Families can expect:

  • Reliable weekly food access
  • Emergency grocery support during times of crisis
  • A welcoming, judgment-free environment

Our goal is to ensure no family in our community has to choose between necessities.

Benevolence Services

Support in Times of Need

Life happens and when it does, Rancho Brazos is here to help. Our benevolence services are designed to support families facing unexpected hardship or crisis.

This may include assistance with:

  • Basic needs
  • Emergency support
  • Connection to additional resources

We walk alongside families with empathy, discretion, and care, offering support when it matters most. Funding for these services provided by Acton Methodist Church.

Agricultural Education

Hands-On Learning That Builds Skills and Confidence

Our agricultural education programs provide students with practical, hands-on learning experiences that connect them to the land, responsibility, and real-world skills.

Through age-appropriate activities, students learn:
